A Dream Built Together: The 2026 St. Jude Dream Home Is Complete

From the first shovelful of dirt to the opening of the front door, this home has always been about more than building a house. It has been about building hope.

The 2026 St. Jude Dream Home is complete, and we couldn’t be more proud to see the vision become a beautiful home—and an even bigger part of a greater mission.

For Patriot Homes, this marks our third time partnering with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to bring the Dream Home experience to Kansas City. Every time we have the opportunity to be part of this incredible effort, we are reminded that the most meaningful homes are the ones built with purpose.

And this home truly was a dream built together.

From Groundbreaking to the Front Door

It all started with a groundbreaking.

What began as an empty lot quickly became the foundation for months of planning, craftsmanship, coordination, and countless hours from the people who brought this home to life.

From the first framing going up to the installation of the final details, there was always something happening behind the scenes.

Then came one of our favorite traditions: Floor Signing.

Before the finished flooring was installed, the subfloor became a canvas for the names and signatures of the people behind this project. Sponsors, trade partners, vendors, and members of the team left their mark beneath the finished floors.

Those signatures won’t be visible once the home is complete—but they’ll always be part of its story.

Each one represents someone who gave their time, talent, materials, resources, or support to help make this dream possible.

A Moment to Celebrate Our Partners

Before opening the doors to the public, we had the opportunity to welcome many of the people who helped make this home possible for a VIP Sneak Peek and Vendor Appreciation event.

It was a chance to step back from the construction process and celebrate what we had accomplished together.

Because a home like this doesn’t happen because of one builder.

It happens because an incredible community of people comes together with a shared purpose.

To every sponsor, vendor, trade partner, donor, volunteer, and supporter who contributed to this home: thank you.

Thank you for showing up.

Thank you for your generosity.

Thank you for caring about the details.

And most importantly, thank you for believing in the mission behind this home.

The finished Dream Home is something we’re incredibly proud of.

Every room reflects thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and the attention to detail that we believe should go into every Patriot home.

But as beautiful as the home is, what happens beyond these walls is what makes it truly special.

St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats, and defeats childhood cancer. Families who come to St. Jude don’t receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food, allowing them to focus on what matters most: helping their child get better.

The Dream Home program helps support that mission.

Every ticket purchased, every sponsor who gives, every vendor who donates materials or labor, and every person who walks through this home helps contribute to something much bigger than a single house.

It helps give families hope.

After months of planning, building, signing, celebrating, and working together, the doors are finally open.

Take your time walking through the spaces. Notice the craftsmanship. Take in the design. Imagine your own family gathering around the kitchen, relaxing in the living room, or enjoying an evening on the covered deck.

And as you walk through, remember that every detail has a story.

A story about the people who built it.

The partners who donated.

The sponsors who supported it.

The community that rallied behind it.

And the children and families at St. Jude who are at the heart of it all.
