Patriot Homes was recognized with a Pick of the Parade Silver Award for its popular two-story floor plan, the Kennedy, at the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City (KCHBA) Fall 2023 Parade of Homes Awards Celebration. The event was held September 27 where several hundred attendees from across the homebuilding industry gathered at Arrowhead Stadium in the Club Tower East to celebrate the winners of the Pick of the Parade and Distinctive Plan & Design contests. The winning entries were priced from $400,000 to $1.8 million.

Showcasing a charming French Country aesthetic, the Kennedy measures 2,920 square feet and includes four bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms. The open concept main level comes complete with a dedicated study, three-story angular staircase, and spacious drop zone. In the great room, built-in bookcases and transom windows flanking a whitewashed brick fireplace emit a warm, timeless appeal. The spacious kitchen is equipped with stainless steel Samsung appliances, quartz countertops, and a large dining area that opens to a 12′ x 16′ covered deck. The home is priced at $719,900.

The Kennedy was one of three homes entered by Patriot Homes in the Fall Parade that also included the Taft, a reverse 1.5-story plan in The Reserve at Riverstone, and the Jefferson, a 1.5-story plan in Cadence.

Although the Parade has ended, the Kennedy is open to the public to tour every Tuesday from 1-6 p.m., Wednesday – Sunday from 12-6 p.m., and by appointment. The Kansas City Parade of Homes is presented semi-annually by the KCHBA and is the second largest in the United States. The Fall 2023 Parade featured 337 townhomes, villas, and single family homes built by 100 different builders ranging in price from $255,000 to $2.5 million.
